Tesla Model 3 drives off 40 feet embankment and the driver walks away

There is one lucky Tesla owner in Portland today. Last week, the driver of a Model 3 was able to walk away from his vehicle after suffering a medical incident, causing him to drive off a steep embankment and crash 40 feet below in a playground area.

Fortunately there were no children in the playground at the time of the crash, which happened at 6.20am according to Fox 12 Oregon.

Moments after the crash happened, several bystanders rushed to help the crash victim, who were able to help him escape from the vehicle. Emergency crews arrived soon after, taking the driver to hospital to ensure no serious injuries. While attempting to move the Tesla, a small fire broke out, but was quickly extinguished with no further damage.
