Jaguar attempts to revive I-Pace sales with new ‘Premium Black Pack’ option and Amazon Alexa integration

Jaguar has added some new interior and exterior features to the 2022 I-Pace electric SUV in the hopes it will attract more buyers and improve lagging sales.

Premium Black Pack

On the exterior Jaguar has added a new ‘Premium Black Pack’ option that “enhances I-Pace’s visual impact and presence” on the road.

The optional package includes 22″ gloss black split spoke wheels, rear spoiler, and gloss black accents for the grille, grille surround, side window surrounds, door -mirror caps and rear badges.

Along with the wheels, the package also adds air suspension to the I-Pace.

Amazon Alexa Integration

Jaguar is also adding Amazon Alexa to the I-Pace, making it the first car in the automaker’s lineup to get the voice assistant.

Not to be left out, Jaguar says 55,000 existing customers with their Pivi Pro infotainment software will be able to download Alexa in an over-the-air (OTA) software update.

“The seamless integration of Amazon Alexa with our Pivi Pro infotainment system gives customers simple, intuitive voice control of regularly used features, making the driving experience even more enjoyable. The fact we can also offer this new feature to existing customers proves the value of our software-over-the-air-updates,” said Alex Heslop, Director of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Jaguar Land Rover.

Jaguar released this video to show off the Alexa integration and the various features you can control through the vehicle.
