Tesla has opened a new Supercharger in Kingston, Ontario, adding 12 stalls at the Highway 15 exit from Highway 401. Tesla Charging announced the opening on X, bringing the station online roughly five months after construction began.
The station sits beside the A&W at 1636 Highway 15. The site features the latest V4 Supercharger posts with a maximum charging output of 325 kW.
According to Tesla’s website, plugging in will cost Tesla owners $0.45 per kWh. The locations also features something we haven’t seen in a while – Magic Docks, which are included CCS adapters for non-Tesla EV drivers, who will pay $0.64/kWh.
For drivers travelling through Kingston, the opening adds another charging stop immediately beside the 401. Tesla already had two operating stations within the city. The addition of this new Supercharger brings the total number of stalls in Kingston to 32.
But that number won’t stay there for long. Tesla is also building another Supercharger on the other side of Kingston. That site began construction in June, so should also be opening soon.
