Tesla is taking the Cybercab on an international tour, giving the public in China, Australia and New Zealand an opportunity to see its purpose-built robotaxi up close.

For China, the Cybercab will be heading to Beijing and Shanghai, where the vehicle will make its Chinese debut on September 17. Tesla will display the vehicle at its Huamao experience store in Beijing through September 27, while the Shanghai showcase at HKRI Taikoo Hui will run until September 21.

Separately, the tour will all be taking place much further south, with Tesla confirming Cybercab appearances in seven Australian cities before arriving in New Zealand.

Sydney will be the first Australian stop in September, followed by Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Canberra in October. Melbourne and Adelaide are scheduled for November, with Perth rounding out the Australian portion in December. The Cybercab will reach Auckland sometime in 2027.

Tesla has not yet announced exact venues or dates for most of the Australia and New Zealand tour. On the event website, the company says they are “finalizing event details across the tour,” and as events are confirmed, they’ll be added to the website.

Unlike Tesla’s current vehicles, the two-seat Cybercab has no steering wheel, pedals or traditional rearview mirrors. It was designed specifically for autonomous ride-hailing and relies entirely on Tesla’s self-driving technology.

After being revealed at the “We, Robot” event in October 2024, the first production Cybercab rolled off the line at Giga Texas in February 2026. Volume production began in April, followed by the start of public rides in Austin on September 4.
