Starlink has lowered its Canadian pricing once again, with the company now offering residential satellite internet for as little as $39 per month in select areas across the country for the first three months of service.
The new limited-time promotion is only valid for the next three days until May 10, and replaces the previous $49/month promotion introduced earlier this spring, cutting another $10 off the entry-level Residential 100 Mbps plan.
Under the new promotion, the Residential 100 Mbps plan now starts at $39 per month, down from the standard $70 price. The mid-tier Residential 200 Mbps plan has also been discounted an additional $10 to $69 per month (reg $110), while the premium Residential Max plan drops to $99 per month, reduced from its usual $140 monthly rate.
As with previous promotions, Starlink is also offering zero upfront hardware costs in select areas, allowing eligible customers to get started without paying for the standard satellite dish and router kit upfront. That dramatically lowers the initial investment required to try the service, especially compared to Starlink’s earlier years in Canada when equipment costs alone could exceed several hundred dollars.
The latest discount campaign comes just months after Starlink revamped its Canadian residential lineup in January 2026, introducing lower-priced 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps, and Max tiers for the first time. At launch, pricing started at $70 per month, which itself was already a major reduction from the previous $110 entry-level pricing.
What Starlink Plans Offer
The Residential 100 Mbps plan is marketed as an affordable option for everyday internet use, capable of handling streaming, browsing, and remote work. The 200 Mbps plan targets larger households and heavier internet users, while Residential Max unlocks Starlink’s fastest residential speeds—up to 400+ Mbps in select areas.
The Max plan also continues to include access to a free Starlink Mini Kit for eligible customers, allowing subscribers to take their connection on the road with discounted mobile service options for camping, RVing, boating, and travel in more than 150 markets.
While the lower pricing is likely to attract new users, Starlink notes that availability varies depending on regional network capacity. The deepest discounts are typically offered in areas where the satellite network has more available bandwidth, while congested regions may see fewer plan options.
For Canadians living in rural communities or underserved regions with limited broadband competition, the latest pricing could make Starlink more appealing than ever.
