The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are on the hunt for a silver Tesla that was involved in a hit-and-run on Hwy 401 in Mississauga.

The incident took place on Thursday and involved a blue Ford Mustang and a second Tesla vehicle.

According to OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, the silver Tesla somehow came into contact with the two vehicles, sending the Mustang off the road into the center area between the express and collectors lane, just past Hwy 403.

“Witnesses are reporting that there was a silver Tesla in this area driving aggressively, I suspect. Somehow came in contact with both of these vehicles and sent the one vehicle sliding,” Schmidt said in a video posted to the OPP Highway Safety Division Twitter account.

No injuries were reported. Anyone with information on the incident or the whereabouts of the silver Tesla are asked to contact the Mississauga OPP at 905-858-8670.
