Fisker Ocean One SUV deliveries in Canada set to begin in September

Fisker has announced it plans to begin Canadian deliveries of the Ocean One SUV in September. The deliveries could begin as early as September 7, when the company expects completion of homologation procedures with Transport Canada.

Fisker has already completed deliveries of the Ocean One in the United States and several European markets, and now Fisker is bringing the electric SUV to Canada. Their expansion north of the border will include setting up brick-and-mortar retail and service centers in Vancouver and Toronto, where the company says most of their deliveries will take place.

Owners won’t necessarily have to visit a service center however, as the company is also developing mobile service units manned by Fisker-trained technicians. They also intend to create Fisker-certified collision-repair facilities. To support those first owners, financing options will be made available through Scotiabank.

“We have garnered substantial reservations and a robust order backlog for the Fisker Ocean in Canada. Our expansion strategy has always encompassed a North American reach, and we’re thrilled to see this vision materialize. We extend our sincere gratitude to our prospective Canadian owners for their unwavering patience during our 2023 business amplification,” Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said.

To celebrate its Canadian launch, Fisker will be setting up pop-up test drive events in Vancouver and Toronto next month, with plans to host more events through the fall.

The Fisker Ocean One will come in four different variants in Canada, starting at C$43,999 for the base model, all the way up to C$89,999 for the top-of-the-line model.
