Fisker delivers first Ocean SUV in Denmark

Fisker has announced the delivery of the first customer vehicle of its brand-new Fisker Ocean all-electric SUV. The limited edition Ocean One launch model was presented to the owner on Friday by Fisker’s Chairman and CEO, Henrik Fisker, at the recently opened Fisker Center+ facility in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The SUV features a Great White exterior paint job, 22-inch AirGlider Black alloy wheels and a white Sea Salt interior with white Alcantara seats. The limited edition (5,000 units) Fisker Ocean One and Extreme models offer the highest driving range of any battery-electric SUV currently available on the European market, according to the automaker. The 20-inch wheels and tires deliver 707km (440 miles) of WLTP rated range, while the 22-inch optional wheels and tires offer 701km (436 miles).

In a press release CEO Henrik Fisker said he was “super excited” to be in Copenhagen to hand over the first Fisker Ocean. The SUV was designed with sustainability in mind, featuring a fully recycled carpet and vegan interior materials made of recycled polyester and plastic bottles.

The Fisker Ocean SUV is powered by a 113kWh lithium-ion battery pack, providing a maximum output of 300kW (402hp) and a peak torque of 660Nm (487 lb-ft). The vehicle can be charged in just 30 minutes using a DC fast charger, and it features a solar panel roof that can provide up to 1,000 free electric miles per year.

Fisker produces the Ocean at a contracted manufacturing plant run by Magna in Graz, Austria. The more affordable Ocean Ultra and Ocean Sport deliveries are expected to start in September.
