First F-150 Lightning hits Turo in Canada, now available to rent in Vancouver

The Ford F-150 Lightning has been available for several months after the first delivery took place in the United States in May. If you weren’t one of the first few lucky owners in Canada, you can now rent one on Turo.

The F-150 Lightning is available in Vancouver, and according to Turo it is the first F-150 Lightning available to rent in all of Canada.

According to the listing description, this Lightning is the Lariat trim with the extended range battery offering up to 500km of range on a full charge.

The owner and Turo host, Mohammed Marie, was among one of the first deliveries in Vancouver and put his electric truck on Turo to help give others the opportunity to drive an EV and consider buying one themselves.

If you want to take Marie up on the offer and experience the Lightning first hand, you will have to pay $300 per day, plus all of the other fees associated with renting from Turo. The rental is also limited to 800km, after which you have to pay $0.75 per additional kilometer.

The Lightning also has to be returned with at least 80% state of charge, or can you select the prepaid charging option when reserving the electric truck.
