Faraday Future completes first delivery of the FF91 2.0 Futurist Alliance

Faraday Future might have been through a lot as a company. However, the automaker is showing signs it will remain around for some time as it delivers the first FF91 2.0 Futurist Alliance to a customer. The delivery is coming after a five delay and a week after announcing it secured new funding.

The limited-edition dubbed AI Tech Luxury is more expensive than even the Lucid Air Sapphire, at $309,000. However, it offers hyper-performance, a luxury sedan’s convenience, and an SUV’s versatility. Only 300 units will be produced; reservation requires a $5,000 deposit.

Faraday Future touts the 2.0 as an upgrade to the original concept unveiled about six years ago. The AI Tech Luxury EV appellation signifies improved technologies, software, and connectivity features.

The Future Alliance version outputs 1,050 hp, with 1,977 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.27 seconds. It has a 142 kWh battery capable of 381 miles (EPA) between charges.

Inside, the FF91 2.0 has 11 displays, including an attention-grabbing 27-inch display at the rear. Passengers can also enjoy live TV, video conferencing, 5G modem connectivity, and what Future Faraday calls “Zero Gravity” seats with a spa mode. The car’s advanced ADAS features are powered by Nvidia Drive Orin and more than 30 sensors.

Faraday Future promised to release a video of the first delivery tomorrow.
