Subaru is reducing the cost of entry for its newest electric crossover in Canada. The automaker has announced pricing for the 2027 Uncharted, with every trim receiving a $2,000 price reduction compared to the 2026 model year.
The biggest beneficiary is the entry-level front-wheel drive model, which now starts at $40,995, making it one of the most affordable battery electric crossovers available in Canada.
Subaru says every version of the Uncharted also qualifies for Canada’s Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP). For buyers eligible for the $5,000 rebate, the effective price of the Uncharted comes down to $35,995.
Two battery configurations – range or performance
The lineup begins with front-wheel drive Long Range model that delivers up to 496 kilometres (308 miles) of estimated driving range. Power is also decent with 221 horsepower.
Drivers looking for additional performance can opt for the Sport or GT trims. Both feature dual electric motors, Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with X-Mode, and a combined output of 338 horsepower. Estimated range drops slightly to 438 kilometres (273 miles) due to the added performance and traction.
Every Uncharted comes equipped with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) charge port, giving owners direct access to Tesla’s Supercharger network without the need for an adapter. Subaru estimates DC fast charging can fill the battery from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.
The Uncharted also includes battery preconditioning to improve charging performance during cold Canadian winters. An 11-kW onboard charger is also standard for faster home charging.
Technology and safety across the lineup
Inside, all models include a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual wireless phone chargers, and rear USB-C charging ports.
The Uncharted also comes standard with a suite of driver assistance features, including available Pre-Collision Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Alert, Traffic Jam Assist, Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, Emergency Stop Assist, and a panoramic view monitor.
Higher trims add Subaru’s StarTex upholstery, orange interior accents, heated rear seats on the GT, and standard roof rails on all-wheel drive models.
