2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 reservations already sold out

After less than a day of GMC opening up reservations for the GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1, GMC announced that reservations are now full.

Although not all is lost if you are still interested in the Sierra EV, GMC has opened up a waitlist for the truck.

Reservation holders put down a $100 refundable deposit.

However, GMC did not confirm how many trucks they will produce for Edition 1.

GMC did confirm that they are planning to start deliveries of Edition 1 in early 2024 but did not give an exact timeframe.

What we do know is that the truck is going to be priced at around $107,000.

In terms of specs, here is what we know about Edition 1:

  • It will use the Ultium Platform
  • The Sierra EV will be a dual motor with more power than the Silverado EV
  • It will have 350 kW DC fast-charging capability, which can add 100 miles of range in 10 minutes
  • The vehicle will have a 4-wheel steer system, which means it will also have a crab walk function

We still do not know the exact battery specs, but we do know that Sierra will get an impressive 400 mile range.
