Tesla’s Acceleration Boost upgrade for both the Model 3 and Model Y also got an update today that makes your EVs even faster than before.
Tesla only released the paid upgrade last month for Model Y owners, giving owners the opportunity to pay $2,700 CAD ($2,000 USD) to shave half a second of their 0-100km/h times (or 0-60mph for our US friends).
Now along with the range increases to both the Long Range and Performance variants of the Model Y, and the long list of changes to the Model 3 last night, the Acceleration Boost is now a little bit quicker.
Along with the recent range upgrade on the Model Y the the performance boost is now .6 seconds faster compared to the .5 seconds before. pic.twitter.com/CHnaZam0Bs

If there’s a Canadian owner out there that can share with us the improved Model 3 0-100km/h times, please let us know in the comments below.
UPDATE: Thanks to a Drive Tesla reader, the 0-100km/h time for the Model 3 is now down to 3.9 seconds from the previous 4.1 seconds.
