Tesla has begun construction of another Supercharger along the Crowsnest Highway (Hwy 3) in British Columbia, this time in Cranbrook.
After initially being planned to be open in the third quarter, work has begun on the new Supercharger in Cranbrook, British Columbia.
Photos of the site from the weekend show ground work has started, and much of the conduit required for the underground wiring has been completed.
Concrete forms are also already in place, indicating this will not be a prefabricated Supercharger like the one added in New Minas, Nova Scotia.
The Cranbrook Supercharger is located at the Tamarack Center at 1500 Cranbrook St N. The site will feature 6 V3 Supercharger stalls, and because the project was partially funded by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), there will also be 2 FLO DC fast chargers.
This is the fourth Supercharger currently under construction along the Crowsnest Hwy. Others includes those in Castlegar, Creston, and Fernie. The only remaining Supercharger along the route waiting to begin construction is in Grand Forks.
