Tesla appears to be expanding beyond offering demo drives of its vehicles at Superchargers, with the company now highlighting Full Self-Driving (FSD) at stations in Canada.
The unannounced event was sSotted by Tesla owner and enthusiast Nic Cruz Patane on X, who shared of a photo of a sign at his local Supercharger in Mississauga (North Service Road) inviting visitors to “Experience Full Self-Driving (Supervised).”
Tesla is doing FSD demo drives at my local Supercharger station. Another really good idea! The more people that experience this technology, the faster it will proliferate around the world. https://t.co/Rqylby3lnT

The event is different than previous ones held by Tesla, where prospective buyers can test drive Tesla vehicles, rather than focusing specifically on the company’s advanced driver assistance technology.
Tesla appears to be building on that approach by using Supercharger stations not only to introduce customers to its vehicles, but also to demonstrate what FSD can do.
Tesla already includes FSD (Supervised) on all vehicles available through its self-serve demo drive program. However, the Ontario sighting marks a shift in how the company is promoting the experience, with FSD itself becoming the main attraction.
The shift comes after Tesla revealed that FSD’s attach rate on new vehicle purchases had climbed above 75%. The figure indicates that more than three-quarters of new Tesla buyers are opting to add the driver assistance package to their purchase.
With FSD adoption already reaching those levels among new buyers, dedicated events at Superchargers could also help Tesla reach existing owners who have yet to subscribe to the software. Unlike traditional vehicle demo drives, these events put the focus on experiencing FSD rather than buying a new car.
