Tesla has reached another milestone in the expansion of its Semi Megacharger network, opening its first station on the US East Coast.
The opening comes just two weeks after the Semi factory was officially opened and the first Semi trucks delivered to customers.
The Georgia station is located in Conley, just outside of Atlanta, and features eight charging stalls designed specifically for Tesla’s all-electric Class 8 truck.
It is the company’s first public Megacharger outside of California, and also the largest site built to date. The other two public Megachargers are both located in California, and both feature 6 stalls.

Tesla’s Megacharger technology can deliver charging speeds of up to 1.2 megawatts (1,200 kW), allowing the Semi to recover approximately 60% of its range in just 30 minutes.
More Megachargers Coming
Earlier this year, Tesla added 64 planned Megacharger locations to its online map, bringing its total network footprint to 66 sites across 15 states at the time.
Georgia is expected to receive at least five additional locations, while Texas and California account for the largest share of planned installations.
Tesla is also working with Pilot Travel Centers to install Megachargers at select truck stops, with locations featuring between four and eight charging stalls.
