Tesla planning Supercharger in Morris [Manitoba]

According to Tesla’s Find Us map, a new Supercharger is set to be built in Morris, Manitoba early next year.

This week, Drive Tesla has learned the station will reportedly be installed at the Bigway Foods off Lord Selkirk Highway at 654 Main St S.

It is unknown how many charging stalls the location will have but it will probably be either a 6 or 8 stall Supercharger.

Tesla added Morris to their planned list of Supercharger locations in February, and it currently has a targeted opening date of Q1 2023.

Before it was added, a Supercharger was planned nearby in the small North Dakotan border town of Pembina, although Tesla eventually abandoned the location.

The Morris Supercharger will make the 250km (155 mile) drive from Winnipeg to Grand Forks, North Dakota much easier, especially in the depths of winter.

This will be just the fifth Supercharger in Manitoba to go along with the other stations in Brandon, Portage la Prairie, Winnipeg, and Prawda.
