Delta Supercharger now open, Langley Supercharger expected online tonight [British Columbia]

Tesla has opened a new Supercharger in Delta, British Columbia on Thursday, and if all goes well a second Supercharger should come online later tonight.

According to the Tesla mobile app the Delta Supercharger is now open. The site was discovered already under construction in November last year at 5202 48 Street, in between the Chevron gas station and the BC Liquor Store.

The site features 12 V3 stalls, with somewhat of a unique configuration due to some underground utilities that Tesla had to work around.

After activating the Delta Supercharger, the Tesla crew headed to the Langley Supercharger, which has been sitting complete since last month. According to David Johnson, member of the Tesla Owners Club of BC, the employees explained they are hoping to turn that location on before the end of the day.

The Langley Supercharger is located just a short drive off the Trans Canada Hwy (Hwy 1) in the parking of the Holiday Inn Express at 8750 204 Street.

UPDATE 7:20pm PT: Langley is now open too.
