Canadian home charging rewards program WattsApp is celebrating two milestones in quick succession, and giving users more ways to earn cash rewards for plugging in their electric vehicle (EV) at home.
The company crossed the 10 million charging point mark on August 12, 2026, prompting a new referral promotion that is now available until the end of the month. But that milestone didn’t last long. As of August 19, WattsApp has already surpassed 15 million charging points – a 50% increase in just seven days.
To mark the latest milestone, WattsApp is again increasing their rewards, this time with a substantial bonus for home charging throughout September.
Up to 33 Points per kWh in September
During September, WattsApp users will receive an additional 15 Charging Points per kWh. That’s on top of the platform’s standard rate of 3 points per kWh, which is currently equivalent to three cents per kWh in rewards.
For those participating in certain options under WattsApp’s recently launched Triple Play Program, the earning rate could climb considerably higher.
There is the standard 3 points per kWh. Add in the 15 point September bonus and the 3 point Triple Play bonus, and you could earn 21 points per kWh.
Those who are also selected as winners of the Triple Play Monthly Draw receive another 12 points per kWh, bringing the maximum possible rate to 33 points per kWh during September, equivalent to 33 cents in rewards for every kWh of home charging.
1,000 Point Referral Promotion
The latest bonus is in additional to another incentive WattsApp introduced to celebrate reaching 10 million charging points.
Starting August 15, the company doubled down on referrals with a “Give 1,000. Get 1,000.” promotion. When you refer someone who joins WattsApp, you both receive 1,000 bonus points, the equivalent of $10.
WattsApp’s rewards are tied to eligible home EV charging activity and Canada’s Clean Fuel Regulations. Users can connect Gen 3 Wall Connector to the platform and easily begin accumulating Charging Points, which can then be converted into cash at certain milestones.

Triple Play Adds Even More Rewards
WattsApp’s Triple Play Program, which launched in July, allows you to select up to three rewards for the year, including bonus points on home charging, Supercharging rebates, monthly Tesla Wall Connector giveaways, quarterly points-doubling draws, and even an annual Tesla Model Y RWD giveaway.
