Tesla opens Q1 2026 earnings call Q&A portal

With Tesla’s Q1 2026 earnings call approaching, the company has once again opened its shareholder Q&A platform, giving investors a chance to ask questions about the topics they are most interested in hearing about.

As in previous quarters, Tesla is using the Say Technologies platform, allowing retail investors who link their brokerage accounts to submit up to three questions. Other shareholders can vote on those submissions, with the most popular questions rising to the top and increasing their chances of being addressed during the live earnings call.

Early submissions for Q1 2026 show a clear continuation of themes from late last year—but with a notable shift toward execution timelines. While Full Self-Driving (FSD) and Robotaxi remain front and center, investors are now pushing for more specific milestones, particularly around unsupervised autonomy and expansion beyond Tesla’s initial deployments.

One of the most upvoted questions so far asks how vehicles equipped with Hardware 3 (HW3) will eventually achieve unsupervised FSD. Closely related are multiple questions asking when FSD will become fully unsupervised in customer vehicles, and whether upcoming software versions—such as v14.3 or v15—represent the final step toward that goal.

Robotaxi is another dominant topic, with investors seeking clarity on how quickly the service will expand beyond its current limited rollout since its launch in June last year. Questions also ask what milestones Tesla is targeting this year for broader Robotaxi deployment, and how those efforts will translate into recurring revenue as the network scales.

Optimus, Tesla’s humanoid robot program, will likely also come up, with investors wanting to know when Tesla plans to unveil Optimus v3, along with details on production timing, initial capabilities, and expected output by the end of the year.

Tesla’s Q1 2026 earnings call is scheduled to take place on April 22 following the release of its financial results. As voting continues on the Say platform, the final list of questions will likely change.

You can view and vote on the questions on Say.com.
