Tesla has officially opened its newest Supercharger in Ottawa, adding 16 more stalls to the company’s growing charging network in Ontario.

Located on St. Laurent Boulevard, the new station first appeared on Tesla’s Supercharger map in 2024. However, the location disappeared from Tesla’s map in December 2024, as is typical with project ‘in development’ as the company negotiates with property owners in the area.

Those concerns proved to be short-lived as Tesla add the site back to its map in January 2025, confirming the project was still part of Tesla’s expansion plans. Construction eventually got underway later that year in September 2025 and continued through the winter before the station was completed in April.

After a few months of sitting idle, the station opened to drivers this week.

For Tesla owners, the St. Laurent Supercharger will cost $0.50/kWh during peak periods. and $0.28/kWh during off-peak overnight periods. Non-Tesla EV owners can also use this station with a NACS adapter, but it will cost up to $0.69/kWh between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

This is the second Supercharger in the Ottawa area to open this year. In February Tesla flipped the switch on a new 12-stall station at Tanger Outlets Ottawa.

There is one other Supercharger currently under construction in the Ottawa area in Gatineau.
