Tesla opens new Supercharger in Norwood [Ontario]

V4 Supercharger post

Tesla’s Supercharger network in Ontario is growing, with a new station now open in Norwood.

Construction on the site was first discovered in July, when crews were spotted working on the new station at a local Circle K. Interestingly, the project had never appeared on Tesla’s official Find Us map before construction began, making it an unexpected addition to the network.

Nearly four months later, the station is now officially open at 4309 Highway 7, with eight V4 posts delivering up to 325 kw.

According to Tesla, owners will pay $0.46 per kWh, while non-Tesla EV drivers will pay $0.64 per kWh and require a NACS adapter.

Norwood isn’t the only Ontario community getting new Superchargers. When construction was discovered in July, work was also underway on another eight-stall V4 station in Orangeville.

Other Superchargers under construction in Ontario include stations in Toronto, Port Hope, Hamilton, and Madoc. Just last week, Tesla also opened a new Supercharger in Kingston.
