Tesla has expanded the rollout of FSD (Supervised) V14 Lite to another international market, with Hardware 3 (AI3) owners in South Korea beginning to receive the long-awaited software update.
The rollout was confirmed on Wednesday by both Tesla AI and Tesla Korea, just over one week after V14 Lite first began reaching a small group of Early Access testers in the United States.
In a post on X, Tesla AI said simply, “v14 Lite now rolling out to early access AI3 owners in Korea.” Tesla Korea provided additional details, confirming the rollout has officially begun, but only for owners of vehicles built in the U.S., not China, and also only for those in the early access program.
Another market receives V14 Lite before Canada
The Korean rollout is notable because it marks the first international expansion of V14 Lite following Tesla’s recent promise that the software would move beyond the United States.
However, there is still no sign of a broader rollout in Canada. Outside of a handful of Canadian early access program participants that we have heard of, Canadian HW3 owners have yet to begin receiving the update. Tesla has also remained silent on when a wider Canadian rollout will begin.
That is somewhat surprising given Canada is typically grouped with the United States, but even south of the border V14 Lite is still reserved for Early Access users.
A major update for Hardware 3
V14 Lite is one of the most significant FSD updates ever released for Hardware 3 owners, who have remained on FSD v12.6.4 for nearly 18 months. The software brings much of the intelligence developed for Tesla’s newer Hardware 4 V14 stack to older vehicles through what the company describes as a distilled model.
According to Tesla, the update improves responsiveness in navigation, merges, pedestrian interactions, traffic lights, and cut-in scenarios while also delivering smoother steering, more consistent lane centering, and fewer unnecessary slowdowns.
It also introduces long-awaited features including parking, unparking, reversing, customizable Arrival Options, and Speed Profiles that allow drivers to choose between more conservative or assertive driving styles.
