Tesla expands wrap service to Texas, adds new Cybertruck wrap colours

Tesla has added a new location for owners to have their Model 3, Model Y, or Cybertruck wrapped in an aftermarket paint protection film (PPF) outside of California. The expansion of the service comes after the company added three new colour options for the PPF for the Cybertruck last month.

Tesla launched their wrap service in October of last year with two types of wraps available, a ‘Clear Wrap’ and ‘Color Wrap.’ However the service was limited and only available at the West Covina and Carlsbad Service Centers in California. A little over a month later Tesla announced at the Cybertruck delivery event that the electric pickup had been added to their wrap service, also since adding two new locations in California, Costa Mesa and Santa Clara.

Now the service has expanded outside of California for the first time, and new colour options have also been added for the Cybertruck.

On Monday Tesla announced the Austin South Collision location located at 6320 East Stassney Lane also now offers the wrap service for the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck.

This expansion comes just a few weeks after Tesla expanded the variety of colours available for the Cybertruck Colour Paint Film. Unlike a vinly wrap, the colour PPF provides the same protection as a traditional PPF, but also changes the colour of your vehicle.

When Tesla launched the Cybertruck wrap service the only two colours available were Matte Black and Satin White. As of last month three new colours are available, Satin Rose, Slip Grey, priced at US$6,000, or Satin Abyss Blue for US$6,500
