Polestar announces locations of Canadian sales and service centers

Ahead of the highly-anticipated Polestar 2 launch in Canada, scheduled for September, the Swedish automaker has officially announced the locations of its Canadian sales and service centers.

Polestar will open three sales centers, known as ‘Spaces’, with one each in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. The locations in Toronto and Montreal will be operated by long-time luxury auto dealers Grand Touring Automobiles Group. The west coast location will become part of the GAIN group, which operates 11 dealers on Vancouver Island, including Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

The three Polestar Spaces in Canada will open this fall, likely with the Vancouver location opening first. Until that time, Polestar 2 deliveries will use a home-delivery model.

Polestar will also open separate service centers in Victoria, B.C., and Waterloo, Ontario.

The Polestar 2 is an all-wheel-drive 5-door electric fastback which will have a base price of $69,900 CDN, unfortunately making it ineligible for and incentives.

It will feature 408 horsepower and 487lb-ft of torque from a 78kWh battery pack. The EV hasn’t received its EPA certification yet, but Polestar is targeting a range of 440km (273 miles) on a single charge.

The Canadian Polestar Spaces will be located at:

  • Toronto: 55 Avenue Road, in the city’s upscale Yorkville shopping district.
  • Montreal: 1255 boulevard René Levesque, in downtown Montreal.
  • Vancouver: 827 Seymour Street, in the city’s business district.
