A new Tesla Supercharger has been discovered under construction in Mississauga, Ontario. The new Supercharger is on Tesla’s map as a pending location and is set to open in Q4 2023.
The Mississauga Supercharger will be located in the parking lot of an Esso gas station at 5980 Hurontario St. According to photos uploaded to Plugshare on June 13, 2023 much of the equipment has already been installed, with the electrical cabinets in place and 8 Supercharger pedestals installed, but still covered up.
Amenities near the site include a Circle K convenience store and Tim Hortons and some small local restaurants.
There are two other Superchargers in close proximity to this new Mississauga location. There is the original Mississauga location at Meadowvale and the Etobicoke Supercharger at CF Sherway Gardens. Nearby Oakville is also set to get other Supercharger before the end of the year, while the Supercharger in Brampton to the north is complete and waiting to be turned on.
