In what may be one of the fastest Supercharger projects in Canada, Tesla has officially opened its first Supercharger station in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Tesla’s plans for a Lethbridge Supercharger first surfaced in late 2024 before the company officially added the location to its Supercharger map in February 2025. The site went unnoticed until early June when it was first spotted with the installation of the charging equipment and utility meter already complete.
One month later and the station has now been energized. Located at Park Place Mall near Dollarama (501 1 Ave S #131), the site offers eight V4 Supercharger stalls capable of delivering charging speeds of up to 325 kW.
Tesla owners will pay a flat rate of $0.47/kWh, while non-Tesla EV owners will pay $0.66/kWh.
The new Supercharger fills an important gap in Tesla’s charging network across southern Alberta. Until now, drivers travelling through the region had fewer fast-charging options, making longer trips less convenient for both local owners and visitors.
The addition of a Supercharger in Lethbridge improves connectivity for travel throughout southern Alberta and provides another reliable stop for drivers heading toward Calgary, Medicine Hat, or the U.S. border.
