Former Tesla Giga Berlin construction manager lands at Koenigsegg

In October last year Evan Horetsky reportedly left his position as Tesla’s Giga Berlin construction manager. At the time it was unclear if he had left the company altogether as his LinkedIn page still listed him as being Tesla’s Director, Engineering, Procurement, Construction Gigafactory Berlin.

We now know the answer as supercar maker Koenigsegg has announced Horetsky is now their Chief Industrialisation Officer. In a press release the company mentions his previous position and his accomplishments while at Tesla.

Evan joins Koenigsegg from Tesla, where his last position was Director of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (Gigafactory Berlin). Evan rose fast through the Tesla ranks and participated in Tesla’s scaling of Gigafactories across the world, including leading local efforts in the U.S., China, and most recently Germany.”

Horetsky also took to LinkedIn to announce his new position saying he will continue his work on electrification and will be hiring for “Giga-like roles.”
