Ford will unveil Mustang-inspired electric SUV next month

Ford has announced they will unveil their first electric vehicle next month on November 17, 2019.

The inspiration for the design comes from the iconic Ford Mustang, and from the few sneak peeks we get from drawings of the vehicle, it bears a striking resemblance to the Mustang.

According to Ford, their electric SUV will begin deliveries sometime in 2020, so production will probably begin soon. Once launched, it is said to have an EPA estimated range of 480km, slightly less than the Model Y estimated range of 483km for the Long Range version.

Other specs on the vehicle, including the most important, its price, won’t be released until the livestream unveiling on Sunday November 17. Until then, Ford has released these two teaser images, showing the side profile and roof line of the EV, as well as the rear, with tailights that look a lot like the Mustang taillights.
