Ford cuts 2024 F-150 Lightning prices across most trims in the US

Ford has reversed course and is now cutting the price of the 2024 F-150 Lightning for most trims. According to a CarsDirect report, Ford has sent a bulletin to dealerships about the price cuts, which has seen prices drop by as much as US$5,500 depending on the trim.

The new pricing for the 2024 Ford F-150 is:

Trim Price Cut New Price with Destination Fee
Pro Standard Range None $57,090*
XLT Standard Range $2,000 $65,090*
Flash Extended Range $5,500 $70,090*
Lariat Extended Range $2,500 $79,090*
Platinum Extended Range None $87,090

*Denotes trim that qualifies for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit

This is a bit of a reverse of Ford’s decision back in December not to adjust prices. Back in January, Ford made massive changes official to the MRSPs of most of its line-up, but the F-150 Lightning never dropped in price. In fact, instead of adjusting pricing to entice potential customers, Ford slowed F-150 Lightning production.

Ford has also confirmed it will hold the 2024 Mustang Mach-E pricing for now as they look to get rid of their remaining 2023 stock.

We have not seen any adjustments for Ford F-150 Lightning in Canada yet. But we may see bonus cash or some other incentive to get Lightning stock moving up north.
