2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E Comes With More Range, Faster Charging, and New Features, But Also Higher Prices

Ford has unveiled the 2024 Mustang Mach-E, introducing improvements in range and charging efficiency and a series of other upgrades that also result in higher prices.

According to Ford, central to the 2024 model’s improvements is the integration of a new rear motor. Developed in-house by Ford, the new rear motor offers a lighter footprint while delivering more torque, allowing for an increase in the EVs driving range, now up to a maximum of 515km (320 miles) on a full charge, a 15km (9 mile) increase from before.

Charging times have also seen a reduction across the board, with the standard-range battery models now achieving a 10 to 80 percent charge in just over 32 minutes, and the extended-range variants in approximately 36 minutes.

The reconfiguration of the GT lineup marks another highlight of the 2024 Mustang Mach-E. With the discontinuation of the GT Performance as a standalone model, Ford introduces a Performance Upgrade package for the GT model, adding an extra 100 pound-feet of torque.

Aesthetic and functional upgrades are also included, such as a revamped 15.5-inch touchscreen interface and the inclusion of Ford Performance front seats and Brembo front brake calipers as standard on the GT model.

Ford has also introduced a new Rally variant and a Bronze Appearance Package.

The 2024 Mustang Mach-E also has new pricing, with most models seeing an increase.

Here is a breakdown of all the changes.
