Fisker announces ChargePoint as partner for North American charging

Fisker announced announced this week they have picked Chargepoint as their public charging solution for owners in Canada and the United States.

The partnership will give Fisker EV owners access to more than 210,000 active EV chargers and over 400,000 roaming chargers across North America.

Fisker Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said this about the announcement:

The minute they get their new Fisker Ocean, our owners want convenient and easy-to-locate public charging stations, a quick, easy experience when using a public charger, and super-simple payment options. Together with ChargePoint, we are providing a class-leading public charging option for Fisker owners at delivery.

The ChargePoint network will be available for Fisker drivers across North America. Fisker owners can locate the EV chargers via their in-vehicle navigation system or the ChargePoint app. In addition, owners can filter by charge level and search out DC charge locations if they prefer.

Fisker is still in early production of its flagship Fisker Ocean. However, they did confirm earlier this month deliveries should start in the coming weeks. This includes the sold-out limited edition Fisker Ocean One which we assume will be the first vehicle to make it to customer’s hands.
