Electrify Canada and Electrify America offering free EV charging sessions on Earth Day

In celebration of Earth Day, Electrify Canada and Electrify America will be offering free charging sessions for electric vehicle (EV) owners at all of their stations across Canada and the US.

Drivers can plug in for for free beginning at 12:00am EST on April 22. To take into account the different time zones across the continent, the free window will close at 3:00am EST on April 23.

“Driving electric is an impactful action consumers can take to help reduce their carbon footprint and Electrify Canada is excited to celebrate this by offering free charging sessions on Earth Day,” said Giovanni Palazzo, president of Electrify Canada. “We are proud to help lead an electric vehicle revolution by enabling electric transportation for Canadians, on Earth Day and every day.”

Electrify Canada currently has 22 ultra-fast charging stations in Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia. Each station has four chargers capable of charging at speeds between 150kW and 350kW. The company hopes to have 32 charging stations operational by the end of the year.

EV drivers can locate a charging station by visiting the Electrify Canada website.
