BC Hydro to host public EV charging engagement session on proposed user fees

BC Hydro is inviting electric vehicle (EV) drivers and enthusiasts to take part in a virtual engagement session next month.

Scheduled to take place on December 7, 2020 from 1:30pm to 4:00pm, BC Hydro will be discussing their plan to introduce fees for charging at their network of DC fast charging stations.

The interactive Webex meeting will also allow for attendees to provide feedback on the plan. That feedback will be used to help develop the final plan that will be submitted to the BC Utilities Commission (BCUC) early next year.

If you’re interested in attending, you can register with your contact information by Friday, December 4, 2020.

Date: Monday, December 7
Time: 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m., PST
Where: Webex (link will be provided after you register)

If you’re unable to attend, the presentation slides and online feedback form will be posted after the session.
