2024 Porsche Macan EV spotted testing with updated interior and new driver monitoring system

The upcoming 2024 Porsche Macan EV has been spotted out testing and from spy photos it appears the electric SUV has an updated interior with a brand new feature.

Instagram account Kindelauto spotted the 2024 version testing in Germany earlier this week and got some shots of the interior giving us a good look at the new interior.

From these photos we can see the Macan appears to have the traditional infotainment screen between the passenger and the driver. A digital instrument cluster is seen in its usual spot behind the steering wheel.

However, something new has appeared ahead of the instrument cluster and just above the steering wheel’s hub.

We also have a shot courtesy of Carscoops that gives us a much better view of the new addition.

Based on information received by Drive Tesla, this is not a new screen as Carscoops suggest, but rather a new driver monitoring system that has been added to the steering column of the Macan EV for its advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS).

We are still waiting for a lot of the details on this new vehicle, but we do know the Macan will have a 100 kWh battery with ultra-fast charging capabilities. We also know that the vehicle will come with dual motors and provide up to 603 HP.

However, we do not know much about the interior’s details nor the exact range or speed details.

At least to say, the Macan is a bit of a mystery, and we can only hope that we see an unveiling early in 2023.
