Tesla pushes back refresh Model S/X deliveries in Europe

Tesla has updated the expected delivery dates of the refresh Model S and Model X in Europe, extending what was already a long wait.

Until today, buyers placing orders were being told to expect their new cars in September. Now according to Tesla’s online configurator, that has been pushed back another two months to November.

The new date is visible in Germany and several other European markets we checked.

Model X Germany

Changes to delivery estimates for Germany last year was among the first hints at the impending refresh for both vehicles. After more than a $7,000 price increase, expected delivery dates were pushed back four months to March 2021.

These extra delays follow a similar update yesterday for buyers of the Model 3 and Model Y in North America. Delivery estimates for both vehicles were extended as far as into June in several provinces in Canada with similar timelines south of the border.
