One of the big perks of being a Tesla owner is the ability to earn rewards through the referral program. Although the program isn’t as generous as it once was, previously giving away free Tesla Roadsters, Powerwalls, Zero-G rims and more, owners are still able to receive 1,500km (1,000 miles) of free Supercharging credits when someone purchases a car with their referral code.
What we often hear from owners is that it can be difficult to earn your first referral. That message came across loud and clear this past weekend when we asked on Twitter who had no referrals at all.

Perhaps the biggest complaint is that you can’t transfer or gift credits to others, especially when some owners have been able to amass more miles than they’ll ever be able to drive.

- Live in a province/state where you are eligible to earn referral awards
