Ford reduces BlueCruise pricing in Canada

Ford has announced a price reduction for its BlueCruise driving assist feature in Canada, a month after implementing the change in the US. Customers can also now choose between a one-year plan and a one-time purchase option.

Starting with the 2025 model year, buyers can choose a one-year plan for C$650, down from the previous price of C$900. Ford is also introducing the option to subscribe on a monthly basis at a fee of C$64.99, which Ford says is ideal for those who only need BlueCruise occasionally.

Additionally, Ford continues to offer a free 90-day trial for customers who do not select a subscription plan upfront, allowing them to experience BlueCruise before deciding on a plan.

If you want to purchase BlueCruise outright, you can pay a one-time fee of C$3,295 at the time of vehicle order. Previously, Ford owners could only subscribe to BlueCruise on a three-year term for C$3,295.

BlueCruise is currently offered with the Ford Expedition, Ford F-150 Lightning, and Ford Mustang Mach-E in Canada. The company will provide information on other models soon.

BlueCruise received approval for use on European roads in July. However, Ford has not shared any plans to reduce the price on the continent.
