FSD Beta 10.69.3 gets delayed another week

fsd beta

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that the next version of Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta, version 10.69.3, won’t be released for at least another week. The reason for the delay is more time is needed to test the release internally before releasing it to the public.

This is yet another delay for this version, which was originally supposed to rollout a few days after AI Day 2, which took place three weeks ago on September 30, 2022.

Nearly two weeks went by before we received an update on when the release will happen, with Musk saying on October 13 it will be coming “next week.”

Toronto Tesla owners are particularly looking forward to this release as it might finally remove the geofence that makes FSD turn off around downtown Toronto because of the TTC streetcars.

According to Musk the continued delays are because this release is a “major upgrade”, despite the fact it is an incremental release from 10.69.2.3.

Musk said they are sticking with the 10.69 numbering scheme instead of moving to version 11 “just because haha.”
