Tesla has reached a charging milestone in Canada with the opening of a 24-stall Supercharger in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec.
According to Tesla Charging, the new Montée Ryan location brings its Canadian network to 3,000 Supercharger stalls.
The site is located at 235 Montée Ryan and was first spotted in July 2025, already fully built-out. Despite Tesla doing their part and getting the site completed last summer, it took more than a year for Hydro Quebec to energize the site.
The wait was longer than Tesla appears to have expected. A plaque on the commemorative stall reads, “Jan 2026, No 3,000 Supercharger Post in Canada,” suggesting Tesla had planned to open the site in January, roughly six months after construction was completed. Continued delays from Hydro Quebec pushed the opening back another 10 months.
This likely means that Tesla is actually well beyond the 3,000 stall mark in Canada as they have opened nearly two dozen Superchargers in 2026, including the largest in Canada at 44 stalls in Ajax.
Now that it is energized, Tesla shows that the new Supercharger is available to non-Tesla EVs with a compatible NACS adapter. Charging prices vary by time of day – Tesla owners pay anywhere from $0.28 to $0.47 per kWh, while the rate shown for other EVs ranges from $0.39 to $0.65 per kWh.
