SPLACH Zippy Ultra Combines a Tesla Phone Mount and Portable Power Bank Into One Device [Deal]

Tesla owners often find themselves choosing between convenience and visibility. The factory wireless charging pad keeps your phone tucked away, but many drivers still rely on their devices for navigation, charging apps, music controls, and other daily tasks. As a result, it’s not uncommon to see Tesla owners using a separate phone mount and carrying a portable battery pack for extra power on the go.

SPLACH is aiming to simplify that with the new SPLACH Zippy Ultra. Launched on Kickstarter, the Zippy Ultra is a modular accessory that combines a wireless charging phone mount, detachable power bank, and multi-purpose mounting system into a single device.

The campaign has already gained over US$14,000 in pledges and met its funding goal. With early bird pricing starting at just US$59, that is a 50% discount from the planned US$119 retail price.

Kickstarter Pricing

There are two early bird packages through Kickstarter.

  • The Car & Screen Kit starts at US$59 and includes the charging core, Tesla screen mount, vent mount, and charging cable.
  • The All-Scenario Kit starts at US$89 and adds additional mounting options for desks, bikes, scooters, and other use cases.

Both packages are currently being offered at 50% off their planned retail pricing, with deliveries expected to begin in July 2026.

A Different Take on the Traditional Phone Mount

At first glance, Zippy Ultra looks like a premium wireless charging phone holder. However, the real innovation is the charging pad doubles as a detachable power bank, allowing users to remove it from the mount and continue charging their phone while away from the vehicle.

When docked, it functions as a wireless charging mount. When removed, it becomes a portable battery pack. The Zippy Ultra combines both into one modular system.

Designed With Tesla Owners in Mind

While Zippy Ultra works with a variety of vehicles and mounting solutions, Tesla owners are clearly a major target audience.

The included metal screen mount attaches directly to the center display without adhesives and positions the phone closer to eye level. The adjustable aluminum arm allows drivers to raise, lower, extend, or reposition the device for a more comfortable viewing angle.

Dual adjustment knobs help keep the mount secure, while silicone contact pads protect the display from scratches or marks.

For drivers who regularly use Waze, charging apps, music controls, or messaging services, the elevated position is far more convenient than Tesla’s factory charging pad.

Wireless Charging Plus Portable Power

The Zippy Ultra supports up to 15W wireless charging and can also provide 20W wired fast charging when additional power is needed.

One feature that stands out is the ability to charge the detachable power bank while simultaneously charging your phone wirelessly. This means the system can remain ready for portable use whenever you leave the vehicle.

The power bank itself is slim and lightweight, weighing approximately 180 grams, making it easy to slip into a pocket or bag.

More Than Just a Car Accessory

SPLACH has designed the system around a universal 17mm ball-joint standard, allowing it to work with a variety of mounting options.

Beyond the Tesla screen mount, users can attach it to:

  • Vehicle vent mounts
  • Bikes and e-bikes
  • Scooters
  • Tripods
  • Desktop setups
  • Magnetic mounting solutions

For users who move between different environments throughout the day, the flexibility could eliminate the need for multiple charging accessories.

Should You Back It?

The Zippy Ultra isn’t trying to reinvent wireless charging. Instead, it takes three products many people already carry—a phone mount, wireless charger, and portable battery pack—and combines them into a single modular system.

For Tesla owners looking to reduce cable clutter while keeping their phone visible and charged, it offers an interesting alternative to traditional mounts and charging accessories. At the current Kickstarter pricing, it could be one of the more affordable Tesla-focused accessories launching this year.
