Williams Lake Tesla Supercharger now open [British Columbia]

More than five months after construction first began, the new Tesla Supercharger in Williams Lake is now online.

The first reports of the Supercharger being open came last night from Plugshare, with one user named Bruce checking in and saying they were able to plug in and Supercharge their Model 3.

Today, the activation was confirmed and the 8-stall station is appearing on the in-car navigation, as noted by Drive Tesla reader Cyberdude (@Mod3My).

The V3 Superchargers are located in the middle of the parking lot at Prosperity Ridge Shopping Centre on S Lakeside Dr, just off Highway 97 in central British Columbia.

With the opening, the route from southern to northern parts of the province is almost complete. Quesnel and Cache Creek came online earlier this summer, leaving just Prince George to be turned on to complete the route.
