Tesla Opens Superchargers to All EVs in South Korea

Tesla continues its global stride towards EV inclusivity with the recent announcement that it is opening its Superchargers to all electric vehicles (EVs) in South Korea.

The opening of the Supercharger network to other EVs was announced by the official Tesla Charging account on X (formerly Twitter). Unlike introductions of the non-Tesla Supercharger Pilot Program in other countries, where the number of Supercharger posts open to other EVs was minimal, Tesla is doing it with a bang, as there are now 570 Supercharger posts across South Korea that are accessible to non-Tesla EVs.

According to Tesla Korea, the company plans to eventually open all 1,007 charging posts to other brands.

In addition to South Korea, Tesla has already opened Superchargers to other EVs in dozens of countries across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and elsewhere. One of the most recent additions to that list was Canada. Still in its infancy, there are currently just three Supercharger stations open to other EVs in Canada, with two stations in Ontario featuring the Magic Dock CCS adapter. A third station was recently equipped with the adapter in Calgary.

However Tesla will expand that number to 750 Supercharging posts across Canada by the end of 2025, according to an announcement from the federal government earlier this year.
