Tesla has officially opened its largest Service Center and showroom in Canada, a massive 60,000 square foot facility at CF Lime Ridge Mall in Hamilton, Ontario.
The new Service Center is housed in the former Home Outfitters/Bay Home store on the east side of the mall. The facility boasts a showroom, which first opened its doors on Sunday, where customers can explore Tesla’s lineup of vehicles, including the Model S, Model 3, Model Y, and also the Cybertruck.
Additionally, Tesla owners can book test drives starting immediately. However, Cybertruck test drives are not available at this location yet.
The service area, which makes up the majority of the 60,000 square feet, opened on Monday and has its own entrance on the outside of the mall. It is equipped to handle a full range of maintenance tasks from tire services to alignments, to even full battery replacements.
For added convenience, CF Lime Ridge is also home to a 20-stall Tesla Supercharger, allowing owners to charge their vehicles while visiting the Service Center or showroom. However, development plans for that area suggest the Supercharger may soon be removed to make way for a new transit terminal.
The Hamilton Service Center was a significant investment for Tesla and involved navigating local regulations and approval processes. The project received a unanimous vote from Hamilton’s Committee of Adjustment in early 2023, approving a minor variance permit to allow vehicle displays at the site.
Kyle Mazzone, Tesla Canada’s Senior Real Estate Manager, emphasized the importance of obtaining the approval quickly, highlighting Hamilton as a critical market for Tesla’s growth in Ontario.
While this facility is currently the largest Tesla Service Center in Canada, it won’t hold that title for long. Construction is underway for an even larger, 120,000 square foot service center in Vancouver, British Columbia, which will double the size of the Hamilton facility. That site was originally planned to open in Q1 2026, but will likely open in mid-2026 after a delay to the start of construction.
Tesla’s expansion at CF Lime Ridge Mall mirrors similar initiatives in other parts of Canada. Another Service Center almost as large as this recently opened in Halifax, Nova Scotia, providing Tesla owners in Atlantic Canada with enhanced service options.
