The Tesla Model Y is ending the year strong in Europe and was named the number-one selling vehicle in November.
Per Automotive News Europe, the vehicle sold 19,133 units, a gain of more than 260 per cent in November last year.
November was a huge rebound for the Model Y, as the vehicle had dropped out of the top fifty in October.
The top three in terms of sales were:
- Tesla Model Y– 19,144 units
- Dacia Sandero- 18,746 units
- Toyota Yarris- 17,309 units
European dominance is a tricky thing to secure these days.
So far in 2022, we have seen six models in the top spot, including the Tesla Model 3 in March and Tesla Model Y in September and November.
In addition to overall sales, the following vehicles saw significant increases:
- Tesla Model Y
- Dacia Sandero
- Toyota Yarris
- VW Tiguan
- VW Golf
- Ford Puma
- Kia Sportage
- Audi A3
For the year, the Peugeot 208 locked up the honour with 193,743 vehicles sold.
All will be revealed in the coming weeks as we get the overall December and end-of-year numbers.
