The Tesla coast-to-coast Full Self-Driving (FSD) challenge across Canada is now entering its final phase, with the team surpassing 5,000 km traveled without a single disengagement or intervention.
After completing another 1,263 km (788 miles) on Thursday, the group made it from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to Quebec City while continuing Tesla’s perfect intervention-free streak using FSD v14.3.3.
At the end of day 4, the team had covered 5,031 km across Canada with only 923 km remaining before reaching Halifax, Nova Scotia and officially completing the drive.
“We just hit 5,000km driven with Tesla FSD with zero interventions as we drive coast to coast across Canada,” Devin Olsen wrote on X.
Now entering Day 5, the group is heading east toward Nova Scotia with plans to stop just outside Halifax before making the final push Friday morning.

The group is inviting Tesla fans and supporters to join them at the finish line at Tesla Halifax (236 Brownlow Ave), where they expect to arrive around 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 29. According to the team, the event will include food, drinks, FSD demonstrations, and an opportunity for attendees to meet the drivers following the completion of the trip.
Throughout the journey, the team has continued to attract attention from Tesla owners and supporters who have met them at Superchargers and charging stops along the route. According to Olsen, many stops have taken longer than expected simply because of the number of people who have come out to see the drive in person.
The drive is being tracked live through the FSD Database platform, allowing followers to monitor the vehicle’s real-time location and progress toward Halifax.
As of the time of publication, the team is at more than 5,300 km and heading towards the Supercharger in St-Leonard, New Brunswick.
