Tesla is once again using its Supercharger network to support communities impacted by natural disasters, announcing free charging for drivers in parts of Japan, France, and Spain following recent earthquakes and wildfires.
According to the official Tesla Charging account on X, free Supercharging will be available from midnight on July 29 through midnight on August 5 at selected locations in all three countries.
In Japan, the free charging program covers ten Supercharger locations across the country’s southwest, including Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima. The announcement comes after a series of earthquakes in southern Japan that have raised concerns across the region.

Tesla is also extending the same support to drivers in parts of France and Spain as firefighters continue battling major wildfires on those two countries.
In France, free Supercharging is available in Arès, Biganos, Mérignac, Bordeaux Lac, and Bègles, serving communities near the Bordeaux region where wildfire activity has forced evacuations and disrupted travel.
Across the border in Spain, free Supercharging is available at Castellón, Sagunto, Fuenlabrada, and Majadahonda, helping drivers in areas impacted by ongoing wildfire conditions.
