Tesla Adds Three New Self-Serve Demo Drive Locations in Canada

Tesla has expanded its Self-Serve Demo Drive program in Canada, adding three new locations in Ontario. The program, which allows prospective buyers to test drive Tesla vehicles without having to interact with an employee, is now available in Brantford, Markham, and Owen Sound.

  • Brantford – 236 Braneida Ln (Autobright Lighting,Window Tinting & AutoSpa)
  • Markham – 23 Laidlaw Blvd (Wraptitude)
  • Owen Sound – 1799 20th St E (Stardust Solar)

Currently, only the Model 3 and Model Y are available at the self-serve demo drive locations.

These new sites join existing locations in Alma and La Jacques-Cartier, Quebec, giving more Canadians the opportunity to experience Tesla’s technology at their convenience.

How Tesla’s Self-Serve Demo Drive Program Works

Tesla’s Self-Serve Demo Drive program is designed to streamline the test-driving experience, allowing potential customers to schedule and complete a drive with minimal hassle. The process begins online, where interested drivers can select an available location and time slot. To participate, drivers must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.

Once a reservation is made, Tesla provides instructions via email and a link to download the Tesla app, which is used for accessing the vehicle. Upon arrival at the test-drive location, you use the app to unlock the car and begin your drive. The standard duration for a self-serve demo drive is one hour, longer than the typical 30-minute demo drive at a Tesla store.

You can book a demo drive on Tesla’s website.
