Montreal and Quebec Electric Vehicle Shows confirmed for later this fall

After cancelling their shows in 2020 and again earlier this year, the Montreal and Quebec Electric Vehicle Shows have announced new dates for later this fall.

The Montreal Electric Vehicle Show (MEVS) will take place from September 17 to 19, 2021 at Montreal’s iconic Olympic Stadium. The Quebec Electric Vehicle Show (QEVS) will be held a few weeks later from October 1 to 3, 2021 at the Centre de foires de Québec.

According to Luc Saumure, co-promoter of the events, the shows will only go forward with the approval of local health authorities. Based on current immunization rates, he fully expects that to happen.

Since a large part of the population has now received their first dose of the vaccine and the government authorities confirm that the majority of Quebec citizens will have received their second dose at the end of August, we are convinced that large gatherings of more than 250 people will then be authorized, the MEVS and QEVS will therefore become the first large interior public exhibitions to open their doors to the general public, ” he said.

The two shows allow attendees to see all types of electrified vehicles like motorbikes, bicycles, boats, ATVs, public transit vehicles, as well as passenger EVs. Visitors to the shows will also be able to get behind the wheel for indoor and outdoor test drives, displays, and listen to a variety of guest speakers.

You can buy tickets at MEVS or QEVS. If you had purchased tickets for the originally scheduled April and May 2021 dates that were cancelled, those tickets will be honoured at the door.
