Lucid has announced the expansion of its financing options in Canada, with the introduction of leasing through Lucid Financial Services, with the goal to make the Air electric sedan more accessible to a broader range of Canadians.
The Lucid Air offers an impressive range of up to 824 kilometers, according to the official NRCan estimates for the 2025 Air Pure, making it the most efficient vehicle ever produced at just 5 miles per kWh. With the introduction of leasing options, Canadian customers can now get behind the wheel of a Lucid Air without the long-term commitment of a traditional purchase.
“Not all electric vehicles are created equal, and now Canadian customers can experience the unrivaled performance and interior space of Lucid while taking advantage of flexible financing options designed to fit their life,” said Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO of Lucid.
Leasing information is not available on Lucid’s website, but the company did tell us that information will be added later this year.
For now Canadian customers can get more information by visiting one of the Lucid Studios located in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, where staff can provide guidance on the best leasing options available.
Lucid recently reported its second quarter financial results. The automaker surprised with revenue of $200.6 million, exceeding Wall Street estimates, but still ended the quarter with a net loss of $643 million. With its cash reserves running out, Lucid secured another lifeline with an investment of $1.5 billion from its majority stakeholder, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia.
